Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the following mobile applications developed by BlueArc Apps: Analog Mix, Cakepan Scale, Chat Memoria Pro, Docusnap, Shield Snap, and NightShift Nurse (collectively, the "Services").
Note for NightShift Nurse Users: Version 3.0+ introduces cloud features for improved experience. Please see Section 2 for details.
1. Data Collection & Offline Philosophy
Our core philosophy is "Privacy by Default." The majority of our applications (Analog Mix, Cakepan Scale, Docusnap, Shield Snap) function as strictly offline utilities. No personal data, user content, or usage analytics are transmitted to our servers from these apps.
2. Cloud Services (NightShift Nurse)
NightShift Nurse 3.0 utilizes cloud services to provide account management and team features. Unlike our offline-only apps, NightShift Nurse uses:
- Firebase Authentication: To create and manage secure user accounts (Email/Password, Google Sign-In).
- Cloud Firestore: To store your user profile, shift schedule, and team memberships securely in the cloud.
- Firebase Storage: To store your profile picture.
Data Retention: Your data is retained as long as your account exists. You can delete your account and all associated data instantly from within the app settings (Profile -> Danger Zone -> Delete Account).
3. Device Permissions
Our applications may request specific device permissions to function. We only request permissions necessary for the core functionality:
- Camera / Storage (Docusnap, Shield Snap): Required to capture or blur images locally. Photos are processed on-device and never uploaded to our cloud.
- Notifications (NightShift Nurse): Required to deliver roster alerts.
- Internet Access: Required by NightShift Nurse for sync; blocked or unused in offline apps.
4. Third-Party Analytics
We do not use aggressive tracking pixels. We may use anonymous, aggregated crash reporting provided by the App Store (Apple) and Google Play Services to identify and fix stability issues.
5. Your Rights (CCPA, GDPR, CalOPPA)
Since we collect minimal to no personal data, "deletion" of your data is typically achieved by simply deleting the Application from your device. For NightShift Nurse cloud data, please contact support@bluearcapps.com to request full account deletion.
